OPENWIND is an European project that promotes new models of governance in the Mediterranean to guarantee a better communication between the citizens and the government through information technology tools. The project is financed by the European Union through the European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument. Given that UOMIT is Lebanon’s representative in OPENWIND, UOMIT developed this mobile application to promote open government concepts: transparency, participation and open data. The mobile application also provides access to municipal transactions where citizens can fill the forms using the application.
